I've been loving Heather Bailey's blog lately. She has a free pattern on there for her "fresh cut quilt." Once I saw the picture, I knew I had to have it. I've been hunting for coordinating fabrics in the following colors ever since: red, pink, tan, and brown. You may recognize a couple from Sandi Henderson's Farmer's Market line that just came out. I love them.

I finished the quilt top last night and the next part is the ruffle edging. Ruffling is such a pain!

Here's a picture of her finished quilt:

Katherine, I'm so impressed. You continue to amaze me. I only wish I was finding the time to do all the sewing that you are. I'm truly jealous.

Wow, Katherine, it looks so good. I'd seen that on Heather's blog, but I didn't think I was up for the challenge. On a side note, did you get the silly putty out of your carpet, and if so, how? Schoo tried to take an impression with a wad of green silly putty (actually two eggs worth) of our carpet and he was a little overzealous. It's in there pretty good. I'm considering scissors.

Wow Katherine! That is such a cute quilt! I love it. I am so impressed and I don't know how you find the time to do all that you do.

That is the most gorgeous quilt I've ever seen. The ruffled edging is beautiful. I am seriously speechless that you actually made that. You are a wonderwoman. I think it's exquisite.
